Arthur Sordillo Remembrance
Archival Gallery presents Arthur Sordillo Remembrance, a retrospective – on exhibition through October 26, 2019. This will be the final showing of the artist’s work. Also showing in October, Sean Royal presents works in acrylic in honor of Arthur Sordillo.
Proceeds from the sale of Arthur’s work will benefit the Artists in Crisis fund.
Join us for a Second Saturday reception on October 12 at 6PM featuring complimentary refreshments, an opportunity to meet Sean Royal, and an exciting raffle of Sean’s “Hedy” artwork.
“Arthur Sordillo was born in Boston MA in 1944 and died 2013 in New York. He tried during all his life to balance his interest in art and motorcycle maintenance.” – from Arthur’s estate.
The Arthur Sordillo Remembrance show will operate somewhat differently than our regular gallery shows. A portion of proceeds from the sale of Arthur’s work will be donated to the Artists in Crisis Fund.
Art Bidding Process
- REGISTER to bid with a gallery staff member. You will receive a unique BIDDER NUMBER.
- BID by writing your BIDDER NUMBER on the tag associated with the artwork (or call the gallery to place a bid). Bid increments are automatically determined. All artwork has a BUY NOW option which may be selected at any time.
- CHECK your bid status. Bidding ends when the art reaches gallery price, or two days prior to the end of the exhibition. If you are outbid during the month you will be notified by phone.
WINNERS will be notified by October 24, 2019.
