“Metamorphosis 2018” art show and scholarship

Our idea behind this show was to create an opportunity for high school seniors to show their work in a professional gallery setting, as well as the experience of a juried art competition with the chance of winning a scholarship. Giving students in the Sacramento area a venue for the work that they are creating during a period of intense and dynamic change, both for the students themselves as they transition into college and the adult world, our city, and for our country as we navigate the 21st Century. The result an amazing exhibit.
Opening Artist Reception June 9, 2018 - 6pm-9pm
Your support for this project will go directly towards scholarship funds for the recipient of the “Best in Show” award. Donations over our target amount will go towards creating additional, smaller awards for other participants in the show. Winners announced at the art closing, cash awards presented at closing reception. Donations accepted through July 26, 2018. Please donate any amount to invest in the young artists in the Sacramento area - no amount is too small!
